CLAIM: Video evidence of the moment American forces strike nuclear facilities in Iran.
CONCLUSION: The videos in question are older and do not show the result of U.S. airstrikes in Iran.
The United States carried out airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—on June 21–22, 2025. The operation, codenamed “Operation Midnight Hammer”, involved B-2 bombers deploying GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) bombs. Six bombers dropped 14 such bombs, while U.S. Navy submarines launched 30 Tomahawk cruise missiles.
Shortly thereafter, two videos began circulating, allegedly showing large explosions at Iranian nuclear sites caused by the American GBU-57 bombs, which weigh 13 tons and are specially designed to destroy fortified underground targets. These bombs were reportedly dropped by B-2 bombers.
We extracted stills from the videos and performed reverse image searches using Google Lens, which confirmed that the footage is older.

The first video is from a Ukrainian drone strike on a Russian ammunition depot in Toropets, Tver region, in September 2024. The second video shows an Israeli strike on an ammunition depot near Tartus, Syria, in December 2024, where the explosion triggered a 3.1 magnitude earthquake.
Conclusion
The videos in question are older and do not depict the results of U.S. airstrikes on Iran.
